Black Friday was a fun but hectic day at Macy's today! I worked 10 hours today non-stop and my feet are killing me lol.
Thanksgiving day was a nice day spent with my two children and my parents who are 84 years old.
My children's grandfather has made it through a most crucial time since his surgery. He has come through all the set backs and is on the mend.
This semester I have decided to take three courses and it's hard to keep up since I had to address the family issues and drive back and forth to New Jersey which took time away from my classwork. I now have a lot of work to make up. I find this to be a true test of my ability to remain an honor student but I'm determined to keep up with it.
It's a blustery night, very windy and it's cold. Tomorrow I work 11:00 - 8:00 p.m., therefore I'm going to cut this blog short as I am tired from a long day.
Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hi Joanne,
ReplyDeleteI am happy to read that you have survived Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and that Henry is on the mend. I was surprised to read that you are taking "3" courses! Are you crazy? (just kidding!) I could not consider doing that, expecially with the final projects. Hey! Maybe Santa will bring you a Snuggie blanket so you can stay warm while you do your studies. I have one, it works well while I type.
Stay Strong you'll make it through!
Mary
Hi Joanne,
ReplyDeleteWow 10 hours! That is crazy and it will only get longer from here. I went out on black Friday and it was crazy our malls opened at 4 am here in Rochester. It was a lot of fun but I don't think ill be doing it again next year, it was way too busy for me.
This is your busiest time of the year at work. You can do it! It will take some major time management and lots of energy.
ReplyDeleteSo far I'm getting through the retail holiday season but my feet are not cooperating and are unhappy lol. It's fun and fast paced that's why I like it.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Joanne
Yes, time management is a big part of working, school and keeping the family up to speed and giving them the attention they deserve, after all, family comes first!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouraging words to everyone. Joanne
